On September 25th, 2011, the Jaguars and Panthers participated in one of the craziest weather games in NFL history. There were no delays in this game because rain was the only problem. Rain poured down for most of the game, starting in the second quarter and eventually flooding the field and stands. Enjoy the highlights from this game.

The rain starts at 2:49
The field held up remarkable well. I seen games way back in the day where the field was a mud pit and you couldn't see the yard-markers.
This was the week I discovered NFL RedZone.
There was only a 20% chance of rain, but when the rain showed up, it made it count.
Despite the weather, Blaine Gabbert performed only slightly worse than his normal "stinks on ice."
This camera work is amazing
I remember as a kid playing in the rain…. the best!!
Highlight Heaven you are the best 💯!
Yeah but at least it wasn’t cold rain. That’s just playing in warm bath water
Bet there was alot of trench foot in this game
This is football
ha, camera operators had to wait for the Pov to change to wipe their lenses.
I'm from Maryland and this is basically North Carolina
Maurice Jones -Drew was incredible !
unbelieveable!!!!!!!
20 percent chance of rain, lol
Damn these centers better have got a bonus. Snapping in the rain let alone is hard but in a pouring rain? Pfft that’s impossible
"20% chance of rain" went to this game and this was fuckin hurricane lmaoo
As a football player, watching this just bring me absolute joy knowing how much fun I would have had playing in this game
God, I miss sports 😕
People forget how shifty mjd was
This was the first NFL game I have ever watched… Absolute classic, go Panthers
This nothing…look up 2015 Bama Georgia game. That was from a hurricane and I was in it.
This is what NFL 2K would look like if it was around now.
Jones drew was smart for taking off his gloves
The Steelers game at Hines Field was way worse
BORTLES
This is when the CBS graphics department was at its best
from my experience, this is not fun especially when it’s cold. Maybe that’s the reason 🤷🏻♂️
Dolphins and steelers a few years ago was the monsoon bowl
Blaine Gabbert's first nfl starting drive was definitely a sign of things to come
Everyone forgets how dominate Maurice Jones Drew was, man was a 5'9 wrecking ball
7:26 N Word??
Charlotte gets rain like crazy sometimes
Chance of rain 20%
20% chance of rain? Before a monsoon? How often the weather forecasters screw us over.
Jags fans be used to this weather
It didn't matter what the weather was MJD was gonna eat regardless
This is nothing compared to the last Super Bowl champions vs college all-stars game. The game never finished, and the series was discontinued.
A 15 minute video of it raining. Wow exciting !
Am I the only one who wants to play a game in this weather
Do Carolina fans just boo every single decent play the other team makes? Sounds like a shit fanbase
“20% chance of rain” lol
20% chance of rain!!!😂😂😂😂😂
I was at this game. Cam's first win as a pro. I was sitting in the upper level and around the end of the first quarter you could see the storm way off slowly moving closer. It was so hot, I thought a little rain would be welcome. Well, once the rain got to the stadium it was relentless as you can see. The water on the sidelines looked to be 2 feet deep. Even the interior of the stadium where the concessions are had about a foot of standing water. And of course the chance of rain was so slight I didn't bring a poncho. Stayed for the whole game.
"Monsoon Bowl"? Seriously! Have seen many games when the rain was MUCH worse.
I remember dancing around in the rain at this game. Literally my first and so far only NFL game and it was a blast
Further proof that 90% of NFL games are better enjoyed in front of a 50” 1080’ flat screen tv
